Not getting much help
I have been looking for the meaning of my middle name "Tenielle". I love the name, as it is so unique and I never knew so many people actually have it. All of the other messages on here reguarding the name havent helped much. I know about the group "Captain and Tenielle" and I know I wasnt named after them, seeing how neither of my parents liked the group. I would however like to find the meaning of the name. I have found that my first name, Ashley, means Beautiful meadow, and I am interested in the MEANING and not just background of my middle name. Thanks

Yeah, we're a strange bunch...We enjoy hockey, beer, and creating name-related websites. :)

Those are all very positive, worthwhile things (esp. the hockey and beer) that more than offset the Kabalarians and will probably ensure all Hosers and Hosettes a place in Heaven. But hey, Mike, I think you folks still owe us an apology for Alanis Morrisette... : )(A hockey aside: Our local urban center, Lexington, just acquired an ECHL hockey team from Georgia. The existing team name: "Macon Whoopee!" Needless to say, a competition is now afoot to choose a new, less barfsome name.)- Da.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure that as a surname (and maybe also as a first name), Tennille is one of a huge number of variations of Daniel. At least that seems overwhelmingly probable to me.
