According to a religious site (http://www.latinodawah.org/newsletter/jan2k2newletter.html) Yahaira is an Islamic name that was introduced to Spain via the Moors.
If so, Yahaira could be related to Jawahir.
If so, Yahaira could be related to Jawahir.

I was told that the meaning of "yahaira" was Ruler, but i'm not 100% sure about that. I was also told that it came from an indian tribe and that it was spelled Jahaira

yahaira means "given from God" and is not an islamic name is a taino(native people before columbus) name from central america my daughter's name is also yahaira
