Hello. My name is Colena [sorry about punct. marks, accent the 'e'] I have grown up not knowing what my name means. I have been told in the past 'A name is important except for yours, no one can spell it.' I have been told that it is Italian, but I don't really have a clue at all. Whoever finds the meanings, I guess this is a hard, challanging one.

My name is Colena also and I was wondering the same thing. I've heard from my aunt that it is Navajo and I have seen Navajo artwork entitled Colena, but I don't know if that's the true origin.

Hello... As you can see MY name is also Colena... I didn't realize there was anyone else with that name... I guess my Dad wanted to name me Colleen and my Mom just threw an "A" at the end to make it different...and confusing for everyone... :) I have heard that a colina (sp?) is spanish for "hill"...

I know a girl's whose middle name is Colena so it's NOT that unoriginal. I've looked it up before and I did find it, I just don't remember where :( but yes, I remember that it is Italian.
