Really? I know a couple people with that name. Isn't that how the hawiian things are spelt, Lei? And pronounced Lay?

You're right, Sarajeanne, and although I don't know anyone by that name, I would read it as Lay-la. I'm sure there are Leilas who pronounce it Lee-la or Ligh-la though.
