I am wondering if anyone can help me to find the meaning behind "Hoevers". It is a dutch name but I can't seem to find anything, anywhere. The only thing I can come up with that it might have been derived from is Hoover, meaning land owner. Is this correct? Can anyone assist me? Thanks
