name-Leirin
Help! I love the name Leirin for a girl...but need to know the origin of the word and its meaning. I know that in
Norway there is a place called Fagernes Leirin and in Finland there is a camp for atheist children called Prometheus Leirin.
That website is in a language I do not know, however it also uses the words leirit and leiri. If anyone knows this language
and what Leirin means please let me know. I'd like to use it for my fourth daughter due in November. My other daughters
names are Aislinn, Elysia, and Soleille. Thank you.

Hi: the reason why when you're running a search on "Leirin" probably gives you a lot of results on Finnish web pages is that the word "leiri" simply means "camp" in Finnish, and the inflected form "leirin" means "of the camp, related to the camp".

So look up those 2 names and there is your answer, probably :)~Silver
