I don't profess to be an expert on Irish pet forms, but I consulted a couple of friends who are well-educated/well-read Irish nationals re the usage of these nicknames in either Eire or Ulster.
Neither considered them "Irish" nicknames; they both said "English" sounded right. One also commented on the archaic nature of "Addie", and speculated that the last person to bear that nickname probably went down on the "Lusitania".
This seems to be a question of some importance to you. Are you doing genealogical research on persons with these names?
