Tchernavia, my name is Tchernavia. I assume your 22...well I am 29. Our name is Eastern European. I was told that it is of Russian descent and a Polish/Russian women told to me it may be Georgian.
She also told me that "tcherna" or "cherna" or "tcher" means charcoal or black.
Where I grew up a women named her daughter after me and my older sister by merging our names "Shanavia" my sister's name is Shana.
I was named after a Russian friend of my 3rd cousin who lived Germany.
