Re: Are you a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

No, I'm not a fan of ''Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.'' I don't watch the show. I've seen it once, but I just didn't like it. It's just not my taste, not my idea for a good TV-show. But I take it that you do watch the show?
And I think it's purely coincidence if some of the names of my future son/daughter fit with the cast members. I didn't like the show, and I don't see me naming my kid after people that play in a show I don't like. :)
No, I'll tell you where I got all these names from. :) Let's start with the boy's names. Rupert is just a name I came across someday, I can't remember how, but I have always loved this name ever since then. The same is meant for the names Montgomery, Charles and Everett. Gabriel, however, is my father's first name, and Cunibert is one of the first names of my great-grandfather (I dig into my family history a lot, btw). Cunibert is a German name and can be found in this database as Kunibert. I know how this name has to be pronounced (in the German way), but I have no idea how to write that down here. :) It's just something you need to hear. :)
Finally, Giles is actually from Gilles - I have just a little bit French blood streaming through my veins, and the last name of one of my ancestors was Gilles. I liked that name, but decided I liked it even better without the second 'l'. :)
As for the girl's names, Rosa is the name of my great-grandmother, and Eliza is the name of my grandmother. Julia is a name I just happen to love, and Aurelia comes from Aurelius, which is a Latin name I've always loved. My great-great-greatgrandfather borne the name Aurelius. :)
Tara is a name I first heard of when watching ''Gone With The Wind'': the land of the O'Hara family was called Tara, and, well, somehow this name just stuck with me. ;) Further, Michelle and Denise are just names that appear quite often, and I just love them. Beautiful sound especially. :)
So, as you can see, most of these names are actually family names. :)
And yes, I've indeed decided on the number of names. :) I only hope 7 names are allowed by law, and ofcourse I was curious to hear everyone's opinion about the names I've chosen. I know of family and friends that they don't really like the all the names (especially Rupert is a name that they find snooty), so I was wondering what other people thought, like here on the board. :)
I thank you for taking the name to tell me what you think of every name. :)
And no, I'm not going to have a child soon, just thinking of it for in the future. :)
Best regards,
Lu
