Re: anyone?
I'm guessing that it's a variation of Sadira, since Zahara and Sahara are both different versions of the same name and have the same meaning, etc. Sadira can mean "prominent point of a valley" in Arabic and Persian (http://www.babyzone.com/babynames/babynamedisplay.asp?ID=27709). According to another site (http://baby-names.adoption.com/search/Sadira.html) , it means "ostrich returning from water"(also in Arabic). And on yet another site, it said that Sadira means "lotus tree" or "dreamy" in Persian (http://www.babynamesorigins.com/girlsnames-s.html). This one also said "dreamy": http://www.mybirthcare.com/favorites/pg1/baby-names-s.asp. And these sites says that it means "star" (http://www.babynameguide.com/categoryarabic.asp?strGender=&strAlpha=S&strCat=Arabic&strOrder=Name and http://www.babynology.com/arabic/baby-names-girl_S_0_s.html#).
These sites said "lotus": http://www.babynamenetwork.com/origin.cfm?origin=Persian and http://www.babychatter.com/persiangirlsnames.html.I would be more likely to trust a site about Persian and Arabic names than the others, since those would be more likely to be correct.
