Has anyone ever heard of Barbara for a male and Bennett for a female?

I have never heard of Barbara for a male and i definitley dont like it~! (although i have heard of Whitney and Ashley for a male if you can believe that) and i have never heard of Bennett for a female, but it's not that bad~!

Barbara for a male would be pretty much unacceptable.

Bennett, which is also a common surname, could conceivably be used for a girl, though I think it would sound strange.
