My sister's name is Claudia, her friends call her "Claud" or "Clauds" as nick.

I find the German pronounciation of Claudia much easier on the ear: "Cloudia" rather than "Cloddia". So, perhaps "Cloud" would be a fitting short form....a nice image anyway.
