Hi everyone...just had a few questions/comments about some names...

This may sound stupid but would the name Rebekka have a slightly different pronunciation than Rebecca? I know that may sound obtuse but I'm not sure. I really want to use this name at some point, but what would be a good middle name with it?

Secondly are there any short forms for the name Claudia?

It's pronounced the same...

But.. my fave spelling is REBEKA one K!

i dont think the name is pronounced different but my little sister is called rebecka and it is pronounced the same as rebecca and rebekka.
(her middle name is faye!)

Not really, it only depends where you're from and therefore the pronounciation and the spelling is different.

My sister's name is Claudia, her friends call her "Claud" or "Clauds" as nick.

I find the German pronounciation of Claudia much easier on the ear: "Cloudia" rather than "Cloddia". So, perhaps "Cloud" would be a fitting short form....a nice image anyway.
