Cilda?
Suzie Plakson played Q's mate on one episode of Star Trek: Voyager. I was looking for a better, less blurry picture of her in Q character for my personal Star Trek pictures collection when I stumbled upon Suzie's father's obituary: http://snipurl.com/cdro.
The family is evidently Jewish. Their names are unremarkable, save for Suzie's mother: Cilda. I immediately thought it might be a Jewish form of Cecilia, but that's really just a guess (and I think it doesn't really explain the D in the name). Cilda would've been born in the 1920s. She was living in America by the time Suzie was born in 1958.
