Czech. The"i" is long and there's a "hacek" over "e" (looks like small v). It'pronounced something like [mnieseec].

do you consider this site for only human names or can they be for others too? i have already named several of my characters using nyx, acacia, fay, vespera, cavan, jarrett, and more. they are all animals... wolves, lions, turtles even.
it would be nice if it werent limited to humans only. i know horikia would not make quite a usual human name but i like it. it means winter darkness. and others like acerbus, mesic, equitas, askari, korosten...
