i was wondering what does the name SHIVAN mean? As far as I know its an indian name and so far all of the sites I have checked does not have it..can you please help?

I do only know Shiva (m), which is Hindu and means 'life and death'.
There is also a Siobhan (she-won)(f), which is Irish and means 'gracious'.

I have a son who I have named SHIVAN after the Hindu god Lord SHIVA(N). Who symbolisis Creation and Distruction.
He is the one god from which everthing routes back to including other gods.
