rules for name succession?
Does anyone know where the rules for name successions can be found? Trying to find the standard rules for the correct use of succession designations such as "Sr., Jr., I, II, III, etc." In other words, can there be a John Doe I without there first being a John Doe Sr.? Can there be a John Doe II without there first being a John Doe Jr.? Etc., etc.
