I've have read some things about my name, but I´m still looking!
Deyanira was the las wife of Heracles the greek mithological hero.
Today, I found a page in Spanish where they said that Deyanira means:
" La perdición de los hombres" which means more or less: Men's unbridle passion or men's ruin.
According to this page, women who have this name have a good temper and make very good and long lasting friends. They are very possesive in love and fall in love easily.
You can try looking with the the other greek version: dejanira or the roman way to write it: deianira.

I've been looking for the meaning of my name and found out that it comes mainly from gypsies. Also some body told me in gypsy in means child of the moon and guardian of the key of life. Well thats what poeple always tell me about my name and also that it's mainly used in T.V. novels as a kind of guide for people.

Well, i hope you keep looking becasuse i really want to know the meaning of my name. Every one aske me what it mean and i'm ashame to say that i don't know. But of couse i will keep on looking also.
