Ive asked about this name once in the past and someone gave me the origin and definition, but I cant remember! Does anyone know the meaning of this name? I think its a gorgeous name. Thank you

From my perspective/understanding it is an alternative spelling of Teija, which in turn is the Finnish version of Thea.

I don't know about TEYA, all I found was TEJA, but this may be an alternative spelling.TEJA was a 6th cent. Gothic king, his name is of uncertain origin.

Thank you! I know that Teya is a name in its own right, but you're right, it may be a modern variant.
