Looking at Evdoxia reminded me of this girl I went to school with. Her name was Evdokia. I'm pretty sure that Evdokia, Eudoxia, and Evdoxia all come from the same name after reading this: In 1689 Peter I of Russia, who is usually described as Peter the Great, married Eudokia Lopukhina, his first wife (Evdokia = Eudosis, Eudoxia, Eudocia, Eudosia, Eudokia; also Yevdokia; Lopuhin, Lopuhina, Lopukhine, Lopuchin, Lopuchina).
