I have a son who is named Jefferson Cash. We call him Cash. He has the same name as my husband, so I am interested in the meaning of the names. I have searched for the meaning of the name Cash, but have been unable to find it. I know that in earlier generations it was used as a first name, and it is in William Faulkner's novel As I Lay Dying. Can anyone help?
