Yes, Sabrin is also an arab name. I think its quite popular in Egypt (at least there's a Egyptian actress named Sabrin).
It comes from 'Sabr' (=patience), Sabrin is really 'Al Sabireen', meaning "the patient (people)". Popular among Muslims cause being patient, being from "the patient people", a most important feature of a muslim's personality (mentioned a lot in the Quran).
