I like it. I just looked it up and I didn't realize that it was a form of Laurence. I think that it is interesting and uncommon.

Its kind of cute, although I would probably come closer to using it as a middle name rather than a first name.

Sorry, but I strongly dislike it. I had a classmate with the ln Larkins and he's all I can think about. Although he wasn't a jerk or anything he had some problems.

I don't really like it all that much. It seems like a trendy name to me. It would be more tolerable on a boy than on a girl, but I wouldn't use it for either.
