It's pronounced ray-gan in King Lear? I've never heard that ... I haven't seen the play, but hearing people talking about it, they've always said ree-gan. Not that I'm arguing, just surprised!

That sucks. I prefer REE-gan. This site has the spelling of Regan pron. as REE-gan and refers to King Lear in the description. Maybe it's a matter of preference? Who knows how Shakespeare REALLY pronounced it anyway? LOL:b
