New Celeb Baby
Australian basketball player, Brett Maher, 33, and his wife, Tanya have welcomed their third child together. The little girl, Indiana Rose, arrived on Valentine's Day.I love Indiana Rose so pretty. I prefer Indiana on a boy though.

Love it!I like Indiana on a girl, it sounds too feminine to me to be used for a boy.

Rose is very cute! Indiana I only like on a boy, though.

Bit too bland for my liking, but tolerable:}

Lovely name. :)

Yeah, Indiana is more for a boy. I wouldn't use it, because it reminds me of Indiana Jones. I like the movie, but still wouldn't use it. It's a lot better than some celeb names you hear.

There's a South African TV presenter that named her daughter the exact same thing. I do think it's pretty although Indiana is not my usual style.

I dislike place/state names, so this is definitely icky to me. I don't feel like being eloquent, so yes, "icky". :PRose is such a blah MN, and with a place name in front of it, it feels like the name of the prize-winner at the state fair horticulture contest or something. First place: Indiana Rose! Second place: the Yellow Rose of Texas! All around an "eh" combo, I think.

Indiana is a guilty pleasure of mine. I think it's tacky if you've never been to Indiana (I haven't), but I love the sound. Rose is blah, but anything too different paired with Indiana would be too much.

I agree with you. It's a pretty name, but I prefer Indiana on a boy.
