And it's not the same as naming your child America, Asia, Ireland or China; otherwise, her name would've been Germany. It *is* however, (in my mind, at least) comparable to naming your child American, Asian, Irish, or Chinese. Not even a country name, but a nationality? That's just weird, imo.
