I haven't really been able to come up with any nicknames for Joachim (JO-ah-kim) that I like, so I was wondering, could J/Jay work? I wouldn't use it all the time, just occasionally. My friend Michelle has a brother named Justin and his family calls him J sometimes, which is where I got the idea. I could also use the occasional J.P. since my favorite combo right now is Joachim Peter.
