In BtN its says that Remy with the accent thingy is a boys name but I love it for a girl but without the accent. What do you think?

Also BtN says that Remy with the accent is pronounced Ray-mee so if Remy is spelt without the accent does that mean it will be pronounced Rey-mee ? What do you think is the best pronounciation for a girl?
