I agree with it as a nickname. Julia would be nice too. Jules is a lovely name for a girl (actually, as often is, i like it much better for a girl that a boy!!!) but it is rather casual, and it would be nice to have a "real" name like Juliet or Julia and have Jules as a cute and pretty nickname.

To me, its really nny. I really dont care for any Jul- name though. Julie or Julia would be nice. I find Julie a little nny too, so maybe Julia.

I also adore it as a nn for a boy, full name Julius (could also work for Julian).
