Re: Problem?
Violet Mae is my number one combo for Violet as well, so I like the Mae spelling in that combo better I would choose Charlotte Lynn over Charlotte Rose any day. The flow might not be perfect but it isn't terrible, and I think family significance is far more important. I would never choose a name with no significance over another name just for flow (but thats just me). For example, no matter what, my first daughter will have one of her mns be Annette after my Nana. And Annette does not flow well with many names, but I don't care.

Thank you so much. Someone brought up the idea of Rosalynn. Combining the two names together. Do you think if I used that name it still would be honoring my family name lynn? Do you like Charlotte Rosalynn. Thank you for any suggestions you might have.

I prefer Roslynn or Roselynn (Rosalynn doesn't flow of the tongue with that much ease), but its okay. Personally, I don't think it honours the tradition your family has started. Usually I think any form of a name honours as long as you chose it with that purpose (for example a name I toy with quite often is Annelise, Anne for my Nana and Elise for me). However, in this case I think continuing the tradition is better and Charlotte Rosalynn doesn't have any better flow than Charlotte Lynn IMO.
