sid-oh-nee, I think. It sounds like someone saying Sydney really strangely, I don't like it at all.

I would prn it Sih-DOH-nee. It's pretty, but I prefer Idony, which is similar but eliminates the clunky SID sound.

I don't like either. I think it would be better Sidney or Sydney.

I think it's (or rather I) pronounce it as sih-DOH-nee and SIH-duh-nee.

I think it's so much better than Sydney/Sidney for a girl as it is actually a girls' name and will age a lot better, is no where near as trendy and much classier (IMO).
