Georgia or Jorja?

Georgia is much better. :)
Georgia!
100 % Georgia!!!
Georgia
Georgia for me.
There's no denying that Georgia is connected to George, and I don't particularly have a problem with that. :-) I like the look of Georgia and that way to me is just, well, normal. I'm very used to that spelling going with that sound. Jorja as a variant doesn't irritate me or anything, though.
It's like Jayne vs. Jane or Eleanor vs. any other variant that sounds the same. I definitely have my own preference but I'm neutral on what other people decide to go for in those cases.

Georgia & only Georgia!
:o)
:o)
I like Jorja :)
I have a soft spot for Jorja. No idea why. That said, I would go with Georgia. It will bu much less confusing to people and looks more professional. Plus, if she ends up going by George -- Jorje loosk really silly. Also, since j makes a y sound in some many languages you are bound to get some people who think it should be said your-ya. At least, I wouldn't be surprised if you did.
Don't care for the name eithe rway, but definitely would pick Georgia. Jorja looks stupid, like some illiterate was trying to spell Georgia. They sound the same so to me they're equally connected to the male name George.
Hm, I dunno. I like the sound of it and don't really "feel" the George-iness of it; I think of the state (in a positive way). I think Jorja looks much more modern, as in, it looks less traditional and "old." And it reminds me of a person I knew named Jory (she was really Marjorie but no one called her that), which I thought was a cool name (never having heard of the male name Jory).
It does have the drawback of looking more "casual" (or maybe trivial) because of the phonetic spelling, though. So, I'm not sure. I think I'd probably go with Georgia because I'm a stuck-in-the-mud in some ways. But I do like Jorja alright.

Georgia, definitely.
Georgia, 100%.
Agreed.
Georgia. Jorga just looks strange.
I actually like Georgia better because the nn Georgie can be used with it. But I will admit that Jorja has a fresh "new" appearance to it which is sweet and spunky! :)
This spelling reminds me of Jorja Fox actress from the CSI TV series. Sweet and Spunky like the character she plays.
Do be forwarned that in Hispanic and Spanish speaking countries Jorja will become hor-huh because of the Js being pronounce like Hs.
I hope this helps a bit. It's a really cute name either way it's spelled!
Laurie :)
