Cleo
Can Cleo stand alone? I mean, does it have to be short for Cleopatra? I like Cleo. What are your opinions on Cleo?

Yes, Cleo as an independent name has been a great deal more common than "Cleopatra" ever has been in the USA.

I think Cleo is cute... on a cat. Personally I don't think it can stand alone. It's too cutesy. But I think it's delightful as a nn. Cleo can also be short for Cleonie.:o)

I think it can stand alone but my first thought is of Miss Cleo, the debunked psychic. Otherwise I think Cleo is a nice name.

It can definitely stand alone. But it mostly makes me think of a cat (makes it's the -leo part) or this woman: http://my.enom.com/8510/Miss_Cleo.jpg

It makes me think of Clifford's fluffy poodle friend on the cartoon "Clifford the Big Red Dog".

catsIn the early 80s there was a Heathcliff cartoon. Did you ever watch that? Along with Heathcliff it featured a bunch of cats that lived in a junkyard...or maybe it was an auto impound. Anyway, one of them was named Cleo.

Maybe that's it. It's ingrained into my subconscious. :b

I think it's fine on its own. I know one Cleo and one Clio (full names). It's adorable, imo.

I suppose it could stand alone, but I don't like it because it reminds me of that phony television psychic or cats.
