If you really must use something as trendy as
Braden, at least spell it in such a way that it'll be pronunced correctly. Bredan looks like BREE-dan or BREH-din; it doesn't look like BRAY-den.
Braden would be better (or better yet,
Edward Joseph Braden sounds handsome and won't be nearly as dated in twenty years).
Why do you need a nickname for it, anyway? Once he's born, you'll be giving him pet names all over the place--with a name as short as
Braden, there's no need for an "official" nickname.
