Seth
I was scrolling through the biblical names and came across Seth. It's funny how sometimes you come across a name you've seen before but it just strikes your interest all the sudden. Seth appeals to me because it is familiar but not overly popular or trendy. Also, Seth was the son of Adam and my DH's name is Adam. The middle name would be William to honor a family member.
So what do you think of Seth William?
Do you think it sounds nice with Julia Wren, our girl pick?
What sort of boy do you imagine being named Seth?

Seth has lost some of its "shine" for me lately because we've had 3 baby boys named Seth at our hospital in the last year. :-/ That doesn't mean it's taking off like crazy, but that's a fairly big showing for what seems to be an uncommon name. I used to like the sound of it but now it strikes me as a husky boy that likes to bully people. And I have no idea where I got that impression because the only Seths I've ever met were babies or toddlers when I knew/met them. :b
Seth William is a nice combo, though (my negative impressions aside, lol) and goes nicely which Julia Wren, which I really like, btw. :)

Seth William is very nice ;)
I personally like the name Seth... maybe it has something to do with the fact that if I were a boy I would be Seth... and yes I like the names Seth William and Julia Wren or Julia Wren and Seth William together.
It's my ex-boyfriend's name.
Honestly I don't really care for it (and not because of him). It's too relgious for my taste, and it's a hard name to say clearly, being both a soft and short sound. People never seemed to get what it was on the first try, especially over the phone. It seems like a pretty familiar name to namers, but in the real world I found a lot of people to be puzzled by it and I had to spell it out before they got it.
It's not a bad name by any means. I'm just trying to explain why I don't like it much myself.

I have loved the name for several years & would consider using it ona son, if I ever have one. I imagine a Seth being cool, popular, athletic, and nice. Though William is NMS, I think it's great to honor family. Seth William sounds nice flows well together and is a nice balance of short & long names.
Julia Wren is really pretty!

One of my best friends is named Seth. He's a lot like me. He's in band (he's still in high school though~he's graduting this year). He's dorky just like me, but he's a sweetheart. He's into metal(today's metal~I'm more into the heavy metal of the 80's and early 90's though). He's a good Christian man. However, I also know a man who is a horrible person and father. But, I think you should go with Seth. I think it's still a good name, and I think he'd turn out to be a good boy. Seth William is alright.
Julia is good, but I don't like the middle name. Sorry.

We are using family names as middle names and Wren was my greatgrandmother's maiden name, so that's where that came from. Thanks for your input. I was a band nerd too. :)
Oh, that's ok. I understand. In that case, both are great!
