Isaac
What do you think of this name? Also, I believe somewhere I saw a child named Isaac that was nicknamed Jack, is this too far of a stretch?Edited for spelling.

Isaac is a good name. I like the Biblical association. One of my professors is named Isaac so I associate it with wisdom & learning. Also I don't come across many boy's names starting with an "I" so it's always nice to see. I've heard of Zack as a nn for Isaac, but Jack is a far stretch, yes.

I love both names. I do believe Jack is quite a stratch as a nn for Isaac though.

I adore it. Jack is a bit of a stretch. I personally like Zak for a NN.

I love Isaac, prefer it with a C, and do not think Jack is a nn for it.

Isaac is a great name, especially for a first born son. Jack is far too much of a stretch to be a nn for Isaac.

Jack is a very long stretchMy nephew is named Isaac, nn Ikey. (He's 8, soon it will switch to Ike or Isaac) I love it, and it would be on my short list if my SIL hadn't used it.He's Isaac Alyosha, if you're curious.

I like Isaac, but I wouldn't use it because it's too Biblical for me. I am entirely bored of the name Jack and wouldn't think of ruining a perfectly good name like Isaac with it.

I have never met anyone named Isaac. I think it's a nice enough name, though I wouldn't use it.No, I don't think it's too far of a stretch. I knew a Richard that went by Scott. (Unless I'm missing something, I didn't think Scott was a nn for Richard.^.^) I'd like to see a little boy named Isaac.

Are you sure Scott wasn't a MN or something? I support stretching a NN (like Rory from Roman), but Scott isn't anything close to Richard!

Positive! His mn was Andrew. o.oI asked him that a good 3 times, haha. But he was pretty sure Scott wasn't his mn. xD
