No. Sorry. It sounds like a made-up, faddish name that was popular in the 1990's. I think it is slightly feminine sounding personally. If you really must use it as a middle name.

I don't mind it actually. It sounds quite modern and I normally don't go for names like that. I think it sounds quite masculine, but you never know if people will use it for a girl or not. I mean, there are little girls running around with the names Hunter, Tyler and Blade, so anything is possible I guess!

I know one Keegan, and he was a boy. I really like the name. When I was little I wanted to have two sets of twin boys, one of the sets being Kiernan (not Kieran) and Keegan. So it is all boy to me.

It's not bad, but it comes off as a little trendy to me (though not popular, at least not yet). The only Keegan I've met lately was a little girl named Keagan (ugh).

I really enjoy Keegan, it reminds me of one of my absolute favourites, Kiefer! I also like the name Keaton. I don't see it transferring over to the girl side, but you never can tell. Personally, while I enjoy names like Finlay, Rowan, Avery, etc. on BOTH boys & girls, Keegan doesn't quite fit in with that so I wouldn't worry.

I prefer Keghan for a girl. :)

However, I must say that I have met one in my life, and SHE was a classmate in one of my college classes. I never heard of the name before then, and looking it up, I found out it was a boys name.

All in all though, I think it has a chance of being a trendy, popular girls name, but who knows if it will. If Taylor and Madison and others made it, I dont see why Keegan would be differet. At the same time, it wouldnt stop me from using it for a boy. But I am one to use a name no matter what gender society seems to assign to it (I like Taylor, Ashley, Avery and more for a boy when most seem to think girl right away).

Keegan is a great name for a boy. I don't see it becoming popular on a girl, it's all boy IMO.
