I think they are really cool names. I've never seen Ebony used as a real name. My first reaction was that Skylar was a boy (Skyler) and Ebony a girl, BUT then I thought of it the other way, and I think that would be really awesome! Also, they are kind of opposites, Ebony being black and Skylar makes me think of the blue sky (though it means scholar).

I would pair Ebony with Ivory. Talk about opposites.

I would also pair Skylar with something that sounds similar to it, like Larkin.

I love both Ebony and Skylar and when I was younger these used to be my two top favorite names. I think they make a very nice sibset!

Skylar I like, though I prefer plain Skye (for her) and Sky (for him)

Skylar yes, but ONLY spelled Schuyler for both genders, prefer boy myself.

They both strike me as a bit trendy, especially Skylar.
