I quite like the name Annelise, and know a lovely little girl with that name and spelling. However having said that, I find that particular spelling is too similar with the word Annelids... which is the scientific name for a group of flat worms. So I prefer the spelling Annaliese, Annalise or Anneliese.

No I don't think it is egocentric naming a child after yourself. Especially as your name will only be part of her name.
Though I do know a woman called Georgina Hope, who named her two youngest daughters, Hope Georgina, and Ginia Hope... That's egocentric...
