Esme
What do you think of Esme?
I have been really liking it lately, my friend said it is too old-lady. What do you think?
Does it go with any of these names? Isla, Norah, Amelia/Emilia, Eva. (editied to add: as sisters).
What other names suit the above names?
Thanks

I think Esme is terribly lovely. :) It's a little too close in look/sound to Isla, Emilia, and Eva, imo though. Nora (can't stand the H) and Esme would be great for sisters, though.

Esme is pretty. I think that it works with the other names.

J.D. Salinger. That's what I think of it. :)
I prefer Esmee, personally, but I think it suits Isla-Nora-Amelia-etc in either spelling.

Michael J. Fox's youngest daughters name is Esme'.
Esme looks incomplete, Esmee would be better and Esmée would be best. I think it goes with those names as sisters, not as mns. As sisters there are a lot of names that fit.
some:
Iris, Vera, Vianne, Sera, Aria, Avalon, Juliet, Noelle
I used to know two sisters: Esmée and Meander (like a curve in a river)

I think Esme is quite nice. It's a lovely older name that you never really here anymore. I don't find it too old lady at all. I think Esme, Isla, Norah, Amelia and Eva work quite well together. Here are a few more suggestions:

I personally love this name, its been on the top of my list for a while now. I definately don't see it as too old-lady, to me it comes across as elegant and refreshingly understated. Also, I think it goes well with the other names you said, especially Amelia, Norah, and Eva.
