Pink or Princess?
No, I'm not serious. But Katie Price (aka Jordan, a famous glamour model in the UK) is. In an article I read recently, Jordan stated that if she had a daughter, she would like to call her either Pink or Princess.
I'm trying to decide which one is better, but it's kind of difficult. I guess I'd have to go with Pink.
"You've become quite a stud."
"And...you're the most stylin' girl in the world."

She's been on the boards & read my posting name!
Hehe, how funny is that?! When I read it I thought, what? I wouldn't be naming a real person Pink or Princess, but she is a strange woman alright, so I'd kind of expect that from her!

Poor child. Princess is fine for a pet (although overdone), but not for a person. Pink is awful too.
if i had to id go with Princess.

How horrible.
I truly can't decide which is worse. Princess is just so incredibly pretentious and Pink...well, does she realize this is a slang term for a vulva?

it is? wow i never knew that. as of again this is way i dislike slang, lol you never know what to say anymore.
I always view pink as in the colour, because that's what it is.

Wow,
Thanks for that name fact on Pink, Eden. I'll totally view it in a different light now...

I know a Princess too. I feel bad for the kid.
I did have a basset hound named Princess once, too...
I don't know if I could name my kid either name...I'd just call them "kid".

I know a woman who goes by the nickname of Pink,
As nicknames or terms of endearment Pink and Princess are fine but I really dislike them as given names

Both are absolutely horrible names. Using either would be torture for a poor child.

Pink or Princess? Ugh!
I find them both unsuitable for people, but if I had to choose one, I'd have to go with Pink. I almost hope she will have a boy!

I don-t really like Jordan, she is just to stupid, of bith of those names id pick princess.

*gags* I mean, that woman has hideous taste in names - what is with calling your child Junior?! - but those are a new low. If I absolutely, there's-a-gun-to-my-head have to choose, I'd say Pink is marginally better, as she's a darn good musician. Princess is more the sort of thing I'd have called a dog when I was six.

Ugg.
Actually, I'm not surprised. She did name her second-born son Junior, which will be laughable when he's a grown man. ("Hi everyone, I'm Junior." Please.) She started with Harvey Daniel for her first son and apparently means to keep going downhill now ...
Pink and Princess are especially stupid when you think of how narrow they are. I can only think of a handful of women I have *ever* come across who would suit a name like Princess. The vast majority of females, frankly, wouldn't want to - not past the age of 5. I'm one of them and I'd be fairly pissed if my parents had been presumptuous enough to give me Princess as a name.

Sadly, I know a real Princess.
Ooooh, dear ...
Does she suit it? That might be a silly question. I expect the type of parent who names their child Princess is also the sort to dress her up in frills and sequins constantly, so she looks the part. (Not to make a flood of assumptions or anything, lol!) I suppose the question is whether she'll suit it as an adult ... Do you mind my asking how old she is?

I know a few Princesses and one PrincessUnique :-/
Yuck! But I would have to go with Princess, it sounds more like a name. But both seem better suited to a dog.

I had to do some googling to fid this Jordan. Glamour? Uh.. okay. I just call it a display of ridiculously large implants. In other words, I'm not surprised she thinsk Pink and Princess would be good names for a daughter. lol
I'd have to go with Pink too, at least it sounds less like the name of somebody's badly-behaved poodle.

A "glamour" model in the UK usually refers to a page three girl, i.e. a model that poses topless. ;-)
"You've become quite a stud."
"And...you're the most stylin' girl in the world."

Oh no. Those two must be the most sickenly sweet names I've ever heard. Is she naming a real person or a chihuahua? Pink would make a tolerable NN, but I really don't like it as a full name. And don't even get me started on Princess...
