Do you pronounce
Alister and
Alistair the same or differently? I pronounce each name differently;
Alister is "AH-lih-stuh" and
Alistair is "ah-lih-STAIR". Is this the correct pronounciation, or am I saying to too...urm...phonetically?
Regarding
Maya; I know a girl at college called
Maya, and while she pronounces it "MY-ah", I say "MAY-ah". She's Indian (although born and raised in Britain, so it's not an accent thing or anything). How do you say the name?
"You've become quite a stud."
"And...you're the most stylin' girl in the world."
