What would Gentry's mn be, Proletariat? Aristocracy? Peasantry? Bourgeoisie?
Sorry to be snide, but I just can't take Gentry seriously as a name. I went to college with a Gentry, a girl, and I thought it was a silly name then.
Hamlyn has the trendy "y" that irritates me. But what I don't like about it more is that it reminds me of that children's tale, "The Pied Piper of Hamelin." Creepy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pied_Piper
