Opinions on Ayesha
Ayesha Phoenix?
Replies
I think Ayesha is a lovely name, but I'm not digging Phoenix, though. Ayesha Phoenix does have great flow and the names complement each other.

I think the combo sounds great. I just much prefer the Aisha spelling.
If you love Ayesha, any version/spelling...
you should look up the song "Aicha" (sometimes spelt Aisha) by the band Outlandish. They are originally from Denmark (the song's in English), and this song was massively popular in Northern Europe a couple of years ago. It's a very beautiful song in praise of a woman/women in general. The lyrics are easy to find and the video's on YouTube (I'd go for the version from user "habibifice"). I never gave this name a second thought until the song came out. It's still not my style, but now it makes me think of a very strong woman.

I know the song by Khaled--I assume it's the same song, if not the same version--and I agree. It's a really nice song, and it's the reason I like Aicha / Aisha.

O come, Grateful Deadheads,
And camp in the street.
A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.

Yep. Same song! Outlandish just made the most recent (and my favourite) English version, I guess.
Please, no. Aicha / Aisha would both be lovely, but Ayesha looks completely off--how aesthetically unappealing.
Aisha / Aicha Phoenix would be fine, if not my style.
