HelpZerelda WDYT?
I recently came across the girl's name Zerelda. No one seems to know exactly where it came from, but it was used briefly in the 19th century. I like it because it sounds funky and different; plus, I'm really liking "Z" names these days. WDYT? Any nn's you can think of?

To me, it sounds like someone wanted to me Zelda more exotic and succeeded in making it silly-sounding instead, sorry.

As for nn's, I agree with Elphi that Zelda seems obvious. Perhaps also Zel. At my house, though, I can tell you it would just be Z, unless it was Tinkerbell or Sugar or Pumpkin.
Just a few suggestions for mn's, if it's not too presumptuous; not sure what style you like. I should warn you, I'm very big on alliteration and assonance. Therefore my first focus is on the Z. Off the top of my head... French names seem to lend themselves to the Z sound, though not all of these are French.

A little history
I don't know if you're from America or not, so you might not know what I'm talking about, but here goes.
Jesse James was a famous outlaw in 1870-1880.
His mother's name was Zerelda and his wife's name was Zerelda Amanda Mimms (Zee).
But as she has grown, her smile has widened with a touch of fear and her glance has taken on depth. Now she is aware of some of the losses you incur by being here -- the extraordinary rent you have to pay as you stay.
