Keegan is a better spelling, at least in the USA, because some people might look at Keagan and pronounce it "KAY-gun", on the analogy of Reagan.

It just seems trendy and modern to me, but it don't loathe it like some other names I consider to be in the same class. Keegan looks a bit better, imo. Either way, it's much better on a boy than a girl, at least--I recently met a baby girl named Keagan. Ugh. (Ugh to her name, but not to the baby, lol.)

I find it very unattractive. I suppose if it were a family surname and you wished to pass down the heritage, I could see it. But short of that, I'd leave it alone.
