What do you think of the name Emmanuel? This name has been on my list of favorite boy's names for awhile, and recently I've started to really like it.

I adore it. I knew a kid in high school with this name, and he went by Manny. I thought it was a cute nn on a great full name.~~Kris~~

I love it, though as an atheist it would be a bit awkward for me if I ever decided to use something quite this biblical. I think it's a really cool name, though. The sound is good, it's interesting without being too 'out there,' and I love the potential to use Manny as a nickname. I also like the variants Immanuel, Emmanuelle, Manuela, and Manuel (though Manuel does tend to remind me of Fawlty Towers).A good name all around, in my opinion.

I really like the name Emmanuel a lot. It is not unheard of, but not overused. I think it is very handsome and has lovey cadence.
