I can't imagine a boy named Artemis, it would be like namign a boy Aphrodite or Diana. (As a matter of fact, I can't imagine ANYBODY named Artemis in real life!) I have heard of the Fowl series but I haven't read any of them. I wonder if the name choice might be intended for laughs.
When I first saw the full name, I assumed the main character would be a chicken. lol
Don't care for Vikram, it's just too strange to my American ears. I assume he's of East Indian descent, in which case the name probably makes perfect sense. It just sounds hard and rather scary to me, and also makes me thik of Vicks Vaporub or something.
