Gavin on a girl?!
I found a little GIRL named Gavyn Cameron. I've never seen Gavin on a girl before.http://www.siouxvalley.com/CradleRoll/BabyList.cfm?CradleRollParentId=18296I dislike it on either gender.

This is not common, but these aren't the first parents to name a girl Gavin (or Gavyn), as exemplified by the following recent article in the Los Angeles Times about a lesbian couple whose 15-year-old daughter is named Gavin:http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-gaykids16oct16,1,7672369.story?ctrack=1&cset=true

Seriously.Gavin and Cameron are MALE NAMES!!!!!!!! It's mean to name a girl either of those. Yuck. Plus, if the girl looks a little androgynous, than she will be teased mercilessly by the lockers.~*Elle*~

Ick! What were they THINKING?! I love Gavin on a boy, but not on a girl. Ick, ick, ick. And I dislike Cameron for either gender, but I hate it slightly less on boys.-------

I like Cameron quite well for either sex, and I'm not about to pretend otherwise.Gavin, no matter its spelling, I find utterly awful.Array

Oh yay, another "fymynyzed" boys' name on girl ::jumps out of the window::I like both Gavin and Cameron on a boy, but both are absolutely horrific on a girl. Especially as a combo.

Yuck, yuck, yuck! Gavin is a boys' name and should stay that way. It doesn't at all sound feminine. I've seen Cameron on a girl before, so I'm not surprised by it. I personally don't like it for a girl, though. It's all-boy imo.
