I think they sound perfect as twin names. Ava and Sophia have the same feel to them (old fashioned but currently popular, sweet, elegent). Emily and Grace also have a similar feel (popular and common but sweet with an air of the Victorian era to them). So they names complement each other well with out being too similar or twinny.

I think Ava and Sophia make a great sibset imo probably because both names are old Hollywood. I don't quite care for the sound of Sophia Emily though.Sophia Rachel
Sophia Hope
Sophia Claire
Sophia Jane
Sophia Lucille
Sophia Lucrece

i love both sophia emily and emily sophia, but ava and sophia sounds better than ava and emily...and i dont think it matters than one name is longer than the other, but that's just my opinion.
mn suggestions for sophia: sophia jasmine
sophia elise
sophia joy
sophia carmen
sophia jade

I like both names, but somehow, Ava Grace sounds too short for Sophia Emily...perhaps because Ava Grace has 3 syll. and Sophia Emily has 6! But i do prefer Sophia Emily to Emily Sophia, because though it sounds good, Emily is wayyy to popular for a first name...
